"Robot at the Kantanka Ghana Tech Expo-- You Won't Believe What Happened Next!"

The Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, recently organised Ghana' technology exhibition, dubbed the 'Kantanka Tech Expo', which provided a platform for talented young creatives to exhibit their skills and knowledge to the world in the area of technology.

The event held at the APOSTLE SAFO SCHOOL OF ARTS AND SCIENCES aimed at showcasing to the world, some of Africa's technological inventions as part of its contributions to addressing global challenges.

The event saw a variety of technological artefacts displayed to the public by participants, most of whom were students from the Kristo Asafo Mission, while offering participants the opportunity to access and use of them.

At the robotics and home appliances section of the exhibition, the MultiCDB team discovered a talking humanoid robot which was able to answer all manner of questions thrown at it. The humanoid robot, according to its creator, an innovative Maxwell Sarfowa, was manufactured within the space of 5 months with the help of his team.

Maxwell Sarfo, the team lead, explained that the creation of the robot was primarily to assist pupils and students with any difficult questions they faced in their studies, adding that academic curricular of the students had been encoded into the robot's system and that its answers were mainly those related to their academics.

"It was built on a Microsoft Encarta software which allows easy studies, and every child would love to learn as they play with a robot", he said. The robot was put to test immediately by the MultiCDB team and it did not disappoint.

The robot, when posed with several questions, even those outside the students' curricular, was still able to respond intelligently and smartly, and even went on to provide further details on the question posed.
