Witness the Revolution! First Eco-Friendly AC Made in Ghana

A group of Ghanaian students, known as Moyan Creations, have manufactured a world class stylish air conditioner for both domestic and commercial use. Unlike the usual air conditioners that come in single split or multi split systems, the group's air conditioner is made with unique features with that come in a peculiarly modernized style. The air conditioner was first exhibited at the Kantanka Tech Expo 2022 held recently at the APOSTLE SAFO SCHOOL OF ARTS AND SCIENCES.

A member of the Moyan Creations team known among his peers as Wizard, sharing the history of the product said since they had had  access to other air conditioners, theirs  was quite easier to make, saying it was developed overnight. Accordingly to him, the air conditioner works by using water to cool instead of coolants, which are no longer environmentally friendly.

"The coolants are hazardous, contributing to global warming and its impacts. Some of these causes are the air conditioners that create chlorophyll carbons and hydrochloric carbons that affect the human system." he disclosed.

In an interview with MultiCDB, Wizard recounted how he began 'manufacturing' stuff while in junior high school.

"My first creation was an alcohol distiller which separated the water from alcohol after we were thought in class; and our teacher made mention of it being non existent in Ghana." he said.

When discussing other creations of his, he mentioned that weeding in high school seemed like a punishment, and he admitted that he detested it. However, he wanted to make it more enjoyable, so he invented a hoverboard that allows the user to smoke marijuana while surfing.

"Personally, I didn't attend the Kantanka Tech Expo alone. I first came here with the robotics team from my school then, but this is my first time coming here by myself and with my own team."

He said the motive of his team's participation at the tech expo was to garner publicity for their work because it provided a platform for him to present his technological products to a larger audience and also gain inspiration from other engineers.
