The thing is, I dated this guy for 5 years in which we were planning to get married after I graduated from fashion school. But things didn't work out the way I expected because he invited a girl from Kumasi to his place, claiming that the lady came for some work and she doesn't have a place to stay.
So he asked her to come and stay with him for 3 days, and he slept with her and even got her pregnant. This happened around 2022 while I was at work. Finding out really shattered me, but I still was ready to accept the baby as mine. But that's not all. I was on my own when he called me, telling me that a sis of his wants to come and stay with him for 2 months so that she can look for a job, which I agreed to.
Ever since the lady came to the house, she behaved in a certain way anytime I go for a visit, but all the same, I did not pay attention to her because he said she is his sister. I was there one day, and he came to pay me a visit, and we had a little conversation. Through the conversation, he told me that the lady whom he said is his sister is actually a girl his dad gave him to marry because he won't accept me marrying his son, saying that my tribe (Krobo) we, the ladies, are not good.
I did not utter a word, so he decided to choose the other lady over me because of his dad. To cut everything short, I asked him why he can't make decisions for himself and let his dad decide for him. All he told me was that he is confused because he doesn't know who to choose, as he can tell that the lady is in love with him, and he doesn't want to hurt her, and at the same time, he doesn't want to hurt me.
The thing is, she came and stayed with him just this January, but it looks like he is in love with the girl. But he did hurt my feelings, not just my feelings. I don't even know how to describe what I am going through. I am trying to let go and move on, but at the same time, this pain is really draining me. Please, I need your advice. Please help me.
