SHS PTA Donates 400 Mono Desks To The School
The Nkoranza Senior High School's
Parents-and-Teachers Association (PTA) in the Nkoranza South Municipal of the
Bono East Region has donated 400 pieces of mono desks to the school to augment
the ones in use.
The desks were procured from
contributions of the PTA.
Presenting the items, the PTA
Chairman, Mr. Owusu Gyamfi, said the inadequacy of furniture which forced the
form-two (2) students to share the final year students’ desks to write their
exams prompted an exigency hence the swift intervention by the association.
He said the PTA is this year exploring
avenues for the procurement of dual desks for all the students as their numbers
continue to increase.
Receiving the furniture, the
Headmaster of the school, Mr. Collins Adu Yeboah in his exaltation of the PTA,
stated that his prayer has been answered by the association.
He also applauded the school's
management for adding 100 mono desks and pledged his commitment to ensure they
are put to proper use to prolong their durability.
On their part, the students,
represented by the Girls Prefect, Yelulor Mavis, expressed profound gratitude
to the Nkoranza Senior High School PTA for the kind gesture.
