The Whole Lookalike Thing Is Due to
Unemployment, Says Nana Romeo
Famous radio presenter and host of Accra FM’s
Entertainment Capital Show, Nana Romeo has said that unemployment is the reason
for the recent ongoing lookalike ‘saga’ by individuals who claim to have a
close resemblance to some popular celebrities in Ghana.
He is of the view that, these so-called
celebrity lookalikes are nothing but loafers only seeking social credibility
and huge following with their content. Nana Romeo also asserted that if these
celebrity lookalikes had a well-paid job, they would have showed much
commitment to it and the trending lookalike thing wouldn’t have gained much
popularity or wouldn’t been in existence in the first place.
Many have rebutted the claim by the highly
regarded radio host with reasons that content creation is now leading globally
in the digital space, and in as much as people share the thought that content
creation is for idle loafers, there is also a positive gain from content creation.
Income, ambassadorial deals, and many great
achievements is gained from content creation.
