Embrace Discipline and Patriotism for Rapid Development –Dormaa East MP Urges Ghanaians
The Member of Parliament for Dormaa East constituency, Hon Paul Apraku Twum Barima, has emphasised the crucial role of discipline and patriotism in fast-tracking Ghana's development.
Speaking to Newsmen on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Asuotiano, he urged Ghanaians to cultivate these values to accelerate the country's progress.
Hon. Twum Barima acknowledged the efforts of Ghana's forefathers, highlighting the importance of leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
He therefore encouraged Ghanaians to remain committed and patriotic, regardless of their position or level of influence, and to utilize every opportunity to make a positive impact on their communities.
The MP also revealed the motivation behind his consistent conduct of free health screenings and football games for his constituents.
According to him, good health propels rapid community development hence committed to providing access to proper healthcare and opportunities for young footballers to pursue professional careers.
In partnership with Samuel Yaw Dabo, CEO of Dabo Soccer Academy, Hon. Twum Barima aims to complete an AstroTurf pitch for effective football training and scouting.
Meanwhile, Mr. Dabo announced plans to form a football team in the constituency to play against Dabo Soccer Academy, a move that will provide the platform for young talents to be scouted and supported in their careers.
