EX PRESIDENT J. A. KUFOUR ADVOCATES FOR PEACE DURING THE ELECTIONS.


Former President, John Agyekum Kufour  has urged Ghanaians to avoid all sort of violence before and after the elections, and accept the outcome of the polls irrespective. 


In his address to the press on Sunday, November 17, he highlighted the importance of preserving peace in the process of elections, since it will preserve the democracy. 


“It is essential for everyone to line up calmly and exercise their voting rights on Election Day. Electoral Violence is unacceptable, and I hope for a peaceful election,” he said. 


Former President acknowledged that power lies with the populace and urged all participants to prioritize peace during the elections.
