POLICE ARREST PERSONS FOR BRANDISHING AND INDISCRIMINATE SHOOTING OF TOY GUNS.


The Ghana Police Service has arrested 26 individuals for indiscriminate firing of toy guns in public places. 

In a press release issued by Ghana Police on November 25, 2025, “The suspects are currently assisting investigations and will be put before court to face justice. Meanwhile, a quantity of toy guns have been retrieved from these suspects as part of the Police investigation into the menace.”

The police is still on with further investigations to get hold of other individuals involved.  

“We hereby, caution the youth to desist from this act as it constitutes the offence of offensive conduct to breaches of the peace contrary to section 207 of the Criminal Act, 1960 (Act 29) amongst others.”

The police has assured the public that they will do all it takes for “our beloved country to continue to be at peace with herself.”
