The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Kofi Setor Dumelo, has been appointed by President John Dramani Mahama as the Deputy Minister designate for Food and Agriculture.
The Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur in recent times ventured into commercial farming, producing large quantities of crop yields such as rice, yam, ginger, cabbage, etc.
The latest he added to the list is poultry production which is aimed at maximising the availability of protein in the country while serving as a source of day-old chickens for other poultry farmers.
His appointment came in today, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 together with other Deputy Ministerial appointments by the President.
