Ahead of December in Ghana: Productive Engagement with the Ghana Police Service

As Ghana prepares to welcome thousands of local and international visitors for the highly anticipated December in Ghana festivities, our leadership team together with our CEO, Maame Efua Houadjeto held a strategic and insightful meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Police Management Board.

The engagement focused on collaborative efforts to enhance safety in all major activity zones during the festive season. This includes event grounds, hospitality centres, entertainment corridors, tourist hotspots, and other high-traffic areas expected to record significant crowds throughout the period.

During the conversation, both teams explored practical measures and coordinated strategies aimed at ensuring a secure and seamless experience for revelers, event organizers, and visitors. Key discussion points included crowd management, rapid response systems, stakeholder communication, and the deployment of advanced security frameworks tailored to large-scale festive environments.

Our CEO emphasised the importance of proactive planning and strong institutional partnerships in maintaining Ghana’s reputation as one of Africa’s most vibrant and welcoming December destinations. The Ghana Police Service, under the leadership of the IGP, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting industry stakeholders and safeguarding public spaces throughout the season.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward delivering a safe, organized, and memorable experience for all who will participate in the December in Ghana celebrations.

We look forward to deepening this partnership and contributing to a secure, enjoyable festive atmosphere for everyone.
