Officials of the Ghana Red Cross Society paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama, during which they honoured him with a set of symbolic gifts in recognition of his support for humanitarian work in Ghana.

During the visit, the delegation presented the President with a framed portrait, a commemorative plaque, and a customised Red Cross jacket. The items were offered as a gesture of appreciation for his commitment to strengthening disaster response, volunteerism, and community resilience initiatives across the country.

President Mahama expressed gratitude for the recognition and commended the Ghana Red Cross Society for its continued service in safeguarding lives, especially through emergency relief operations and first-aid training nationwide.

The interaction marked a renewed commitment between the Presidency and the Ghana Red Cross Society to enhance humanitarian interventions and support vulner

able communities across Ghana.
