Techiman Magazine’s Crafted Steer Presented to Dr. Bawumia symbolizes Mockery - Bilal Muazu
The national deputy director for Traders and Artisans Network, Bilal Muazu Sulemana, has stated that the Techiman Magazine's presentation of a crafted steering wheel to the Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia was a targeted subtle of mockery during his visit to Techiman magazine in the Bono East Region.
According to the deputy director, the gesture, which seemed to be in support of his presidential aspirations, was actually a clever critique of his leadership credentials.
The magazine's actions were a clear reference to Dr. Bawumia's previous statement, in which he urged Ghanaians to entrust him with the "steering wheel" of the nation.
Sulemana believes that the Vice President failed to recognize the underlying intention behind the gesture which will raise eyebrows and be interpreted as a sign of his unpreparedness for the presidency.
In an exclusive interview on Fabea FM's "Me Man Ho Dadwen" with Apiah-Kubi, the deputy director indicated that the steering wheel has become a symbol of leadership, and the Techiman Magazine representatives used it as a poignant commentary to jibe Dr. Bawumia's ability to precede and address the nation's challenges.
"Dr. Bawumia factors in the economic crisis in the country, as a Vice President who needed to manage the economy and make it crave for businesses, but has mismanaged the economy", Bilal Muazu Sulemana bemoaned.
He concluded that Dr. Bawumia’s utterances seem to be made under duress and they enrage Ghanaians.
