Combating Misinformation: Asunafo North MCE Sounds the Alarm
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Asunafo North, Hon. Yaw Osei Boahen, has raised concerns over the growing threat of misinformation in the community, warning that it can lead to chaos, misunderstandings, and mayhem among residents.
Speaking on the "Hammers Ahasuo Mmere" show, Hon. Boahenemphasised the need for caution and critical thinking in the face of false information.
He urged community members to be vigilant and verify the accuracy of information before sharing it, to prevent the spread of misinformation.
In contrast, Hon. Boahen highlighted the success of the government's "One District, One Construction Equipment" initiative, which has received widespread acclaim for its innovative approach to infrastructure development.
The initiative aims to equip each district with essential construction equipment, empowering local governments to build roads, schools, and other vital structures.
Hon. Boahen therefore pledged to utilize the equipment effectively in his jurisdiction, demonstrating his commitment to transparent and informed leadership.
By addressing the issue of misinformation and promoting verified information, Hon. Boahen seeks to foster a more informed and cohesive community, where residents can trust the information they receive and work together towards development and progress.
