Ghana Freedom Party’s Philip Appiah Kubi popularly known at Roman Fada has been disqualified from the presidential race in this year’s election.
On November 4,2024, Philip Appiah Kubi who was the running mate for Madam Akua Donkor, who passed on in October announced to the EC that he was going to run for the presidential seat in the stead of the late founder of the party.
The Electoral Commission said during an IPAC meeting held on Tuesday, November 12,2024 that there were errors and illegalities in the nomination forms he submitted.
The EC has therefore announced that there will not be a change in the position on the ballot paper, hence votes for the late Akua Donkor will be obliterated.
