๐Ÿ“ BECE 2025 is Still On! – WAEC Says They’ve Received 70% of Needed Funds

By MulticdbOnline | June 11, 2025

There’s been a lot of talk about whether the 2025 BECE will take place as planned — but the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has given some reassurance.

According to John Kapi, Head of Public Affairs at WAEC:

“We have received about 70% of the amount needed to conduct the BECE examination.”

That’s good news for students, parents, and schools across the country who have been anxious about potential delays or cancellations.

๐Ÿ’ก What Does This Mean?

WAEC has received most of the funds required to organize the exam.

The remaining 30% is still expected from the government.

Preparations for the 2025 BECE are actively ongoing.

๐Ÿ—“️ Is the Exam Date Changing?

As of now, there’s no official change to the scheduled date. WAEC says once the rest of the funds are received, everything will move forward smoothly.

๐Ÿง  Students, Keep Preparing!

Even with funding concerns, WAEC is doing its part — so students should stay focused, keep revising, and get ready to give their best.
