“I Build People Up; You Tear People Down” - Kwadwo Sheldon Fires Back at Shatta Wale
Kwadwo Sheldon has responded strongly to the ongoing tension between himself, his worker Eri, and dancehall artist Shatta Wale, stating that they are “not on the same level” in terms of impact and leadership.
Speaking on a recent episode of KSS Yawa of the Day, Sheldon said that even without luxuries like a swimming pool, he has managed to bring people together, build a platform, and create jobs for young talents.
According to him, Shatta Wale’s attempt at running a record label failed because he “fought his own artists and drove them away,” while KSS has grown into a brand that nurtures creatives and gives them opportunities.
Sheldon emphasized that he is content with where God has placed him, so he doesn’t fear anyone because of their wealth. He added that Shatta Wale “destroys talents,” whereas he focuses on discovering and developing them.
He concluded that regardless of money or status, he believes he is far ahead in terms of impact:
“We can never be on the same level.”
