Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has publicly apologized to media personality and event host Kojo Manuel following an incident that occurred during a recent performance.
In a now-viral tweet, Shatta Wale addressed Kojo Manuel directly after a member of his team, known as Abonko, reportedly pushed Manuel while Shatta was making his way to the stage.
Shatta Wale clarified that Abonko meant no harm, saying:
“Kojo Manuel, so sorryyy 🙏🏿🙏🏿 but hey Abonko is the most nicest person ever, but when it comes to my work all my team members bow cuz he is my second in command and none of my team come close.”
He added that the team is always on high alert during show moments, and the push was not personal or intentional.
Kojo Manuel, who handled the situation gracefully, responded with respect and unity, tweeting:
“Thank you One Don. All love here. 4Lyf is 4Lyf.”
The respectful exchange has been praised by fans as a sign of maturity and brotherhood within the industry especially at a time when tensions during events often spill over.
